An easy improvement Bluepoint Games was able to do is re-record all of the dialogue and music in the game. Music is often a part of game’s that holds up to time the best, but in this case, it was mostly about providing higher-quality cleaner audio which can happen in modern game development thanks to the advancement of technology. Most players likely won’t notice as good audio should go unnoticed due to it feeling seamless, but this is an improvement for the better in the remake which makes the game feel a bit more modern in 2020 and beyond.
Dodge-rolling out of the way of attacks is crucial to your success in Demon’s Souls, and if you’re bogged down with heavy armor, weapons, and shields, you’re going to roll sluggishly. Experiment with different types of weapons to see what suits your play style, and what works best on certain enemies.
